Laser Brow Toning removes the grey and it leaves the mixture of remaining pigment in the skin which could look like lighter brown (red + yellow + white). Generally brow pigments consist of blue, red, yellow, and sometimes white. Each particles weigh differently and when blue pigment weighs the heaviest the brow tend to heal ashy with a grey hue to it. Not all brows turn light brown after brow toning because it depends on the composition of the brow pigment that was used for your old brow. That’s why we offer a complimentary patch test at the end of the tail before we move forward with it.

Laser Brow Removal removes the entire work, not just shifting the colour.

Laser Brow Toning: Usually one session is all you need.

Laser Brow Removal: On average our studio has been able to remove old permanent makeup within 1-3 sessions, however on rare occasions it could take 5+ sessions if the tattoo is done very deep and saturated.

For new brows, eyeliners: initial set + maintenance done either annually or every 2 years is typically what’s expected. If you like an airy and light look, even 3 years without any maintenance works as well. If you like a bolder look, you may come in every 6 months to a year. Maintenance can be either a tattoo touchup, laser toning to shift the colour, or both.

Yes, we can finally redesign your brows, lips, or liner for a clean, natural result that aligns with your vision 8 weeks from your last Laser Brow Removal session. If you want a touch up done after Laser Brow Toning, we recommend 4 weeks from the appointment. Touch up rates are only offered to our original PMU clients, if your work was done elsewhere, it is considered a NEW SET first and you will have access to our touch up tiers after.

Laser Brow Toning: There isn’t really a downtime, slight swelling for a day or two.

Laser Brow Removal: There will be more intense swelling for about 2-3 days, possibly little blisters forming and red bruises around the area. You can apply brow makeup from about a week after the appointment.

For all permanent makeups: it is about 1-2 weeks. Everything still looks natural and great, just slightly bolder than your liking in the first few weeks and they slowly scab off on their own.

Our studio sticks with 2 rules.

1. Our technique is very light-handed, the work is done on the very surface level of the skin and shouldn’t bleed. This technique ensures the work to look very airy, light, natural and fade away over time very naturally.
2. We don’t use brow pigment with titanium dioxide (white) to avoid opaqueness that makes brows look too tattooey and because we understand titanium dioxide doesn’t get detected by any pigmentation laser in case an exit plan is needed.

Laser Brow Toning: it holds for a year or so and it can start to shift cool again but not as dramatic as before the initial Laser Brow Toning session.

Laser Brow Removal: Laser tattoo removal actually gets lighter with time. Getting more sessions done in a short period of time doesn’t necessarily speed up the removal process. We recommend minimum 8 weeks interval and if you don’t plan on getting any new work done, it heals lighter even more with time as well.
